"New Yorkers admire Simcha's independent spirit and common-sense approach to tough problems, and so do I. His leadership on the Council has played a big part in the success we're enjoying today," Mayor Bloomberg said. "Now we need his kind of leadership up in Albany. The upcoming primary is an important one and I encourage everyone to get out and vote."
"It is an honor to have Mayor Bloomberg in Brooklyn to campaign with me," said Councilman Felder. "He has great appeal among voters across the city because he thinks independently and works cooperatively to get the job done."

Who cares what Hikind thinks. Hikind is an Assemblyman for Israel. Felder is a Councilman for Brooklyn. Felder has my and my wife's vote.

This is pure garbage and once again anyone can write garbage and state it as fact.
I asked Dov Hikind about this issue and he said that it's not that he does not endorse Simcha but Simcha put him in a squeeze because he was not running for State senate in the begining and Dov said he already endorsed someone else NOT KNOWING that Simcha was going to run for the senate instead of the other seat which was NOT STATE SENATE.
It sounds like a miscommunication on Simcha Felders part and it's no big deal. I would rather have Bloombergs endorsement than Hikind.
Bloomberg is our mayor And Dov Hikind is acting prime minister of Israel.

Felder wants to be the senator for Satmer! No wonder some hate Dov's support for yiden in israel. Borough Park never had a single affordable housing unit built while Felder was a councilman. He has only bullied different yeshivos and organization. All his funding went to Satmar's UJ-Carws.

I love dov, but honestly- simcha has more than enough name recognition in the community that he doesn't need dov's endorsement. on the other hand, simcha's opponent is relatively unknown among the average voter in the community.
it is also true, that simcha originally intended to run for citywide office ( a far more difficult feat than running for state office in you home district) & apparently he felt he had a better chance winning this position.

Simcha doesn't care about the Satmar politics. Whoever delivers him votes will have an open ear. If both sides deliver, both sides will have an open ear. Same goes for all other institutions.

So it seems, Simcha - satmar, Simcha - UJCare.
But a little input and visualizing, brings out a complete picture and dismantles the camouflage of some "slim minded" creation.
Fist of all, Simcha has worked for his constituents aggressively and vigorously. He hasn’t earned his name by public posters and empty talk press conferences, or with demagogy about issues that are not related to his job. Well we all know that it’s much uncomplicated to be on public post and make certain to get active on foreign politics, and demagogic statements on local unrelated stuff. It won’t create too much hostile environment in your district, as most people don’t mind or really care of what’s going on there. However, if you get energetic in your own district the picture suddenly changes, potential conflict and disagreements crop up.
Simcha has shown his real efforts in actively supporting housing issues, which were not popular to all, but imperative to the community, he stood up in City council various time representing issues which were vital to his constituents, and disregarded the “what will people say” notion. The people he works for are the once that by vote of confidence put trust in him and elected him to office, additionally, he also made himself available to help other community needs not directly within his district, as it appeared important to “our community”.
Some will see his support to UJCare as a political input, and argue the need of its existence. Looking into it with sober view will prove that “our community” is the one to benefit by activities such as, food distributing for the needy, dynamic seeking governmental funding for community importance, and the extensive voting drive.
Simcha deserves our support simply because he is working for “our needs” and would be willing to jeopardize some political influence while it isn’t in “our” best interest.

Simcha Felder a great leader? What a JOKE?
1) He has voted YES for congestion pricing.
2) Oh yes! Busy with pigeon droppings
3) Simcha Felder since when are you a council member from Williamsburg? By staying neutral you would have gotten 100% of Williamsburg, you get involved with UJCare now you lost 50%, if not more.
He is already a corrupted politician.

Felder made a press conference regarding the Olympics in China. Why are you telling people that Felder is not concerned with demogagy and empty press releases. This is simply not the case. He is an aggressive person, that won't stop for anyone,in order to get elected. This campaign is solely about Felder for Felder. It has absolutely nothing to do with us. Instead of voting for Felder, just do a good deed to a neighbor or a friend. Don't waste your time on this political junk!

What are you talking about? Which housing project? The only one we all know about is the on that were built for unwelcome guest and the community that voted you in was extremely against it and he knows it.
Dont knock Dov Hikind, he has our interest and heart and Israel's saftey is in our interest.
