Williamsburg, NY - Hatzolah BLS and Medics responding to Kent Avenue for an infant that was drowning in the bathtub. Child is being transported with Medics on board to LICH.

U/D: 10:22

Child in Hospital in stable condition.

A child of mine fell and needed stitches. I was advised not to go to the hospital lest we'll be accused of child abuse. I've always regretted it because now this child has a noticable scar. Overprotecting society isn't either good.

if the mother was truely taking care of her kids, i have to doubt that the police will recognise that. they are profetionals and they know exactly what they are doing. have no fear, as long as the baby is ok, there's nothing to worry about. we know that the mother was probebly doing her best, and hashem should watch over her baby. refuah shelema

If you withhold medical care from your child because you are afraid of being charged with child abuse.... you are abusing or at least neglecting your child. Always get medical care first!
